Throughout 2019, Rooster Teeth had seen what some people are calling a max exodus of employees.

In September, Variety reported that Rooster Teeth had laid off about 13% of their workforce.

Back in April, the President of Rooster Teeth announced he was stepping down from his position.

Variety also reported that Grey Haddock, the Head of Animation at Rooster Teeth stepped down back in June.

A number of other personalities had also left the company as well, throughout 2019. Including huge names such as Lawrence Sonntag ( of Funhaus ) and Ellie Main ( ex RWBY Rewind Host ).

On top of numerous people either being fired from the company or leaving on their own accord, Rooster Teeth also had multiple other issues occurring over the year as well;

Such as the massive backlash surrounding their choice to increase the price of their “First Memberships.”

Or what Clownfish TV reported on, regarding potential mismanagement and an overall mess with their production “gen:LOCK”

When it comes to Rooster Teeth’s performance in 2019, these are only some of the issues that occured. This article isn’t meant to recap everything, though perhaps we’ll do that at some point, simply to mention some of what has occurred throughout 2019.

Now, in 2020, it seems things are not looking any better for Rooster Teeth.

On January 10, 2020, @Kedward_art, the lead animator for RWBY Chibi has also departed from the company.

As you can see, there also seems to be an implication that most of the time he spent at the company was not something he enjoyed.

Writing; “Last day at RT. Some good. Then there was all the bad.”

Which some people also pointed out;

Despite having some fanatical, loyalist, fans, that are in complete denial about the abundance of apparent issues going at Rooster Teeth, many people are speculating that the company may not even be around by the end of 2020. When you look at the trashfire going on, it’s understandable why they have that opinion.

Stay tuned for further updates, it’s looking like there certainly will be more to come.

We do wish Keddy all the best in his future business ventures.

UPDATE: Tuesday January 14, 2020. Jan 13, 2020, Keddy clarifies via tweet that was a lead on more than just RWBY Chibi.
